Who are we?

The Academy of Woodlands PTA is a fundraising committee run by a small team, made up of parents and staff, who are all volunteers. We are here because we love and value our school and pupils and wish to contribute to its success.

What do we do?

Our aim is to raise additional funds to help make the school's budget go further. With the PTA, we are able to help improve our children's edcuational resources and opportunities.

What can we achieve?

With the help of your generous donations, these are some examples of what the PTA can achieve:

Second Hand Uniform Shop
Fancy Dress Day
Santa and Easter Bunny Visits
Christmas 50p shop
Christmas Fayre
End of Term Disco

How can you help?

Contact the School Office on 0300 065 8200, if you would like to join the team!

Here is a few idea's of how you can help:

Wrapping (presents, lucky dip prizes, etc)
Sourcing raffle prizes from local businesses, etc
Helping at a Summer or Christmas Fayre
Helping with uniform sales, 50p or tuck shops
Laundering donated uniforms
Helping at discos or fund raising events
Baking cakes
Face painting /glitter tattoos
And much, much more!

But if you are not able to volunteer at all, please remember that your donations of school uniform, clothes, shoes, books, CDs, toys, unwanted gifts, etc are ALWAYS hugely appreciated. Just give them to the school office and they will pass them on to us.
